This may sound silly, but did you try grease/wd-40? If you are worried
about the grease staying and aiding another escape, a trick I've used in
the past is Hair spray. When you spray it on wet, its a lubricant. When
it dries, its tacky and acts like an adhesive. And when going out late at
night, it makes your hair look amazing(ly 80s).
