Adding Bluetooth to '08 TT (Concert II)

I have looked into this with my '04 A4 in the past, and was going to replace my head unit with a new double-DIN unit with BT and satellite capability. But then I thinkthat the $250 cost/installation could be better used on something else, like repairing window regulators that seem to be constantly going..... There are some decentunits out there that aren't too stupid looking and have changeable display colors (so it will match the red instrument lighting). I suspect there are ways to simply add
BT capability but I wouldn't want extra wires, speakers and microphones all over the place... Take a look at Crutchfield.com for selection.
I like BT capability but the one in my wife's 2014 Mazda CX-5 can be infuriating at times. Driving my daughter back to college today, she was in her car and I wasin the CX-5, and the dang thing wouldn't work and wouldn't switch to the handset at a critical time, when we were trying to determine which way to take while in traffic on theGeorge Washington Bridge.... And it insists on playing my music alphabetically by song title when it's on shuffle, and always goes back to the beginning when the caris shut off and restarted.... I never get out of the 'A's.....

Subject: Adding Bluetooth to '08 TT (Concert II)
Finally managed to snag a TT (3.2L Quattro Coupe), and am quite happy
with it except for the lack of integrated Bluetooth, mostly for phone
calls. Got used to that feature in our '07 Q7, and it's also in our
replacement 2010 Q5.
I believe I have the Concert II stereo, with three buttons on either
side for radio station presets and CD changer controls.
Would love some kind of system with little manual intervention needed,
so adding a BT-FM modulator gizmo as the simplest/cheapest option isn't
quite what I'm after. Closest to the built-in system to the Q5/Q7 would
be ideal.
Any suggestions on 'best' ways to proceed? Can I look for an MMI-style
head unit to swap in, or better off with a 3rd-party head deck, or is
there a nice, fairly seamless way to add BT to the existing factory stereo?
Appreciate your advice - thanks!
Bart
