Running hot

For me, radiator flush in older cars means breaking loose all the crap that
is preventing the leaks.
Flushes have resulted in leaking freeze plugs, radiators and o-rings for me.

Sure, if a flush causes these problems then the parts were bad anyway and
need to be changed. It's just a question of how much work you want to do.

Subject: Running hot

Has anyone noticed their Audi was running a little too hot perhaps because
of a partially clogged radiator? Did they use a radiator flush or replace
the radiator? Was there anything else they did to make it run cooler?

Also, is there a standard or factory setting for the throttle set idle
screw?
