Thanks for the replies, guys..... Not sure what I am going to do here, if I keep the car I will probably try the fabric screws. I'm trying to decide whether to sell thecar or not, as I have a spare car for the next 4 months ('09 MINI Cooper) while my daughter is studying abroad, and during the summer I try to drive my '76 MGBas much as possible. Since I work from home, the Audi is becoming more of an 'extra' car these days.... But with the cost of insurance here in NJ, makes it a toughchoice to just have it sitting around.

Agree, having done two headliners by the R + R method, next time I used
small screws and washers. Gave it a nice button tuck look! Even did my
Dodge van.

They have clear plastic heads on them and don't bother me near as much as I thought they would. Guess it all depends on how many miles you got and what your car is worth to you.
