Brake Pedal Stiff When Weather is > 90 degrees

Under hood heat buildup caused MC warpage that made brakes remain engaged after the pedal was released, especially in 200q20v models. I don't recall that making the pedal hard. Does the CQ have a "bomb"? Failing accumulator can cause a stiff brake pedal.
