Help with Two Coolant Hoses

Hi, I just posted a message with a photo, but it seems the list doesn't
like photos so I'll describe instead.

One of my coolant hoses just split and fortunately I wasn't far from home.
But I need to replace them.

The hose is one of two short rubber hoses that run side by side. Viewed
from the passenger side of the engine bay, the rubber hoses connect two
sets of pipes, one coming from the engine and another going to somewhere
under the steering rack. I'm not sure if these pipes/hoses take coolant
back to cool the transmission, or do they take coolant into the heater core
for the climate control.

Are these special order items, or is this standard coolant hose of a
certain size that I could pick up at Napa/Canadian tire?

I've been pretty good about changing the upper and lower radiator hoses as
a precaution. I never thought about these two. While I'm changing these
two, are there any other coolant hoses I should look to replace as a
precaution?

Thanks
