Help with Two Coolant Hoses

There are four hoses that ultimately feed the heater core. One from below the thermostat housing that is only maybe 10cm long that goes to a metal pipe. At the opposite end of that metal pipe (near the engine to bellhousing mating area, below the distributor) there's another hose from the pipe to the heater core. The other side of the heater core then feeds to the heater control valve which is between the engine and steering rack, then the last hose runs from that to the rear of the block just below the cylinder head.

In a bind any of these can be replaced with regular hose, but the three at the back of the engine have some curves in them which makes the OE hoses the right choice for the long term. The one short one can be just a bit of straight heater grade hose from your favorite source. I believe all 4 are 3/4" hose, but it's been ages since I've had to change one so I may be wrong.

Also change the (plastic) heater valve if you are in there. It'll crack eventually.
