Big hose clamp and wobble

Hose clamp will work fine BTDT, it is so close the axle that the little bit
of weight in the screw won't unbalance anything. When you next do the CV
boot it will get replaced anyway. :-)
On the bug I'd put it up on nice solid jackstands, first check for any
play/resistance when hand spinning each front wheel with at lock. If that
is all good run it in a low gear... could be CV is on the way out and
"siezed up" for a bit.
