EricCan't postulate on the source of your issues because I have yet to begin to devote any attention to mine, but to look up part numbers I usually use realoem.me

7 zap is is another good one

Car has been running and starting fine. Only using locally (until next
weekend!) and no problems.
Been working on another long term vehicle project and finally getting back
to this one.
Facts: Car wouldn't start immediately after a "hot soak". Using non ethanol
high test. Motor was on the hot high side, but gauge has never been
accurate!
After considerable thought, I've never heard the after-run fan come on! If
it was going to it certainly should have on that day! So, having a little
difficulty finding a valid part number...Help!
Additional fact: When I was stop and go in the city the jet-roar fan was
engaging, but never the second speed. While leaving the city I had put the
cc on bi-level which did operate the first speed coolant fan which helped to
cool things down.. Need to investigate that also. That's possibly the
resistor pack, relay, sensor or the likes!
So, need VAG part number for two pin afterrun sensor on the coolant manifold
Eric
