Thanks for the link. Had used realoem for BMW stuff in the past, didn't
realize they also had Audi!

 

So, think I have the issues figured out!

 

Afterrun switch is bad! Pulled one from the parts car and tried testing, but
no love! Looked for specs (ohms) but Bentley says to touch the two wires
together and if it works the switch is bad.. So much for using the meter.
Put it in and got the car hot (pulled fan relay, 3rd speed and watched
gauge) no fan after shutdown. Ordered switch.

 

 

2nd fan speed issue turned out to be the rad switch. Jumpered at switch
connector, 2nd speed works. Ordered switch/sensor
