Don't know why there haven't been any replies to my first posting of this. (
2 days ago ) Maybe because it was my first post here I did something wrong.
I am giving it a second attempt.
The issue at hand is this: Just replaced rotors and brakes with Zimmerman
slotted and Mintex Reds. Now I cannot not get the dang brake pad warning
light to shut off.
So I took some advise and decided to bypass the pad sensor. Clipped
the wire to the pad, soldered the two wires together near the connector (male
end). Reattached the connectors together, turned the key, and sure enough,
my old friend (o) was looking at me. This tells me that it was not
necessarily the wires from the pad to the connector. Is it possible to do
the same thing with the wire further up the line, more where the wires come
through the wheel well and not having any type of connector on it?
I am sure someone out there has been through this, could you your
advise.
Thanks,
Mark W
