The only thing I can say here, Taka, is that when I do hard run after hard
run on my '91 200 or for that matter my '89 200 (same boost as my S4) the
intercoolers are much cooler than the IC in my '92 S4 which will steam water
almost instantly. Usually your intuition is right.

Very different plumbing for the RS2- much more like my 3B engine in
that regard than the AAN.
The IC in the RS2 is front-mounted in the big "mouth" of the bumper-
ideal location compared to that of the UrS. I don't know how much of
an improvement it really is quantitatively, though.
The location of the IC in the UrS looks far from ideal- has anyone
flow-tested
the car to see how much air can get to the IC?
