This shouldn't be a problem, Greg. If I keep increasing the cabin temp
setting on my '94 S4 it eventually goes to HI and opens the heater valve
wide open.

Another question... it's 95 degrees out today, heater doesn't go that high.
 I can't seem to get the heater on my 94 S4 to come on since it's all
computer controlled (no problem on my 4KCSQ!).  Is there a way for me to
make the heater come on so I can flush the core?  I want to get all the
green stuff out that the
PO had put in.  Drive to Alaska?
