Hey:
When I was 17, I had a few friends transform into Tony Marino after seeing
Saturday Night Fever. Their dad's big white Caddy with a red interior was
a hot ride then. Needed platform shoes to go with the jumpsuit. I wasn't
going there.
Sophomore year in College, kids would dye their hair purple and wear Spandex
pants to hit the clubs. A car didn't even matter. I wasn't going there
either. (Well, maybe once, but I was really, really, drunk
and.....ooooppppppps, that's another list!)
Molesting cars has been a pastime for as long as there have been cars!
Have you looked at any old Treser pictures lately? Scary. I recently went to
a car show where there was a *Latin Gentleman* who had covered his entire
Fiat 500 in Leather. He was very proud.
If a kid wants to be into Corvairs or Hot Rods (isn't that what you call a
25 year-old molested car), old muscle cars, or the Import Scene, that's ok
with me, I can sorta relate to cars & trying to be unique-- & I'll take any
of these before purple hair, white jumpsuits, or platform shoes.
BTW, the site I found "Saltino's" 4KQ on is fun.

factory rear deck wing or not)

Naw, I didn't get a chance to go. I think I registered, but had family
things going on...

Why is it that tasteful mods are usually not obvious, and actually add to
the capability of the car, while tasteless mods are obvious, and usually
take away capability?
