[s-cars] Eibach spacer answer

Scott,

Abt France, which work on my suspension kit told me exactly the same thing:
"they have the lowered rear for better handling. It may look bad, but it
performs better on the track"
Agree or disagree ?

Regards,
Frederic

You can use a sleeve spacer on the top of the shock (threaded portion)
instead of machining another groove in the shock. I believe this problem
originated with the "lower" rear perch 5k FWD application on which these
rears are *reference* measured. I've had to install many of these spacers
in the t44tq chassis over the years to compensate for the "dumpy" ass
syndrome. That said, do remember that many of the aftermarket "kit" guys
(abt comes to mind) have the lowered rear for better handling. It may look
bad, but it performs better on the track.
