[s-cars] My door has fallen and it can't get up! (or my question for the day...)

I was detailing the inside of the door jams today, and noticed that the
drivers door falls quite a bit when you open it. The door closes fine, but I
can see that it is scaring the door plate on the middle pillar when it is
closed (because it "climbs" the plate to close).

So, what do you guys think? Is it just a shim or something? I am a handtool
mechanic, can I fix this myself?
