No, Paul, THANK YOU!
The event was great! I am telling you as someone who has attended quite
a number of such Audi enthusiast events. I am still amazed how well and
smoothly everything went. And how you Paul have carefully thought
everything out. Beginning with the marking the road to your house with
the large cardboard Audi rings painted in RED :) at every intersection.
The parking. The food. The two huge pump driven kegs with good beer.
Even the blue portable john in the backyard :)
It has also been great to meet with the old friends with whom we used to
meet every year at Mt. Washington in the past, as well as meet a few new
listers in person.
Even the Listmeiser showed up, in his typical manner, for a couple of
hours and took off before anyone realised it :)

Bob's car with the unfinished engine sewer system (BTW, that's a good
one Bill! Methinks the term is going to stick :) ) was indeed a show
stopper. The most amazing part was that Bob was nowhere to be found near
his own car. For hours some strange characters, loaded with beer, would
launch that beast up the hill in the Paul's street with a roar of a race
car yet Bob (and Paul) would never lose their cool and seemed to be
pretty oblivious to that :) I trust the neighbours never called the
Police? You have very nice people for neighbours, Paul.

Mmm... technically... I do speak with an accent and a shaken
Vodka-Martini is indeed my favourite fuel, Paul. :)
BTW, did your wife give you hell for the missing glass top off that pot?
Just tell her you know honey this strange Igor character got drunk (ya
know, Russians...) and started to crush the stuff; we barely salvaged
the rest of the glassware from him :)

Yes, I second that. Rich has been doing a hell of a job documenting the
event on his digital camera. People vs. their cars. For years as I've
been attending those events the same problem of putting together faces
with names of all the people at the even would rise over and over again.
Hopefully now we will have some kind of a photo gallery. Perhaps on the
S-cars site? Darin?
Once again, thank you Paul so much (and our most sncere THANK YOU goes
to your wife as well) for putting this much effort into the event and
tolerating such an uncivilised lot as we are on your property. It has
been a great pleasure to meet you! The event has been a great success!
