Igor:
Info you provide re Bosch Eprom PN is accurate (as expected), but...
Are you referring to the padding under the stock label to prevent adhesive
from gumming up the UV window?
I've never seen any writing on this paper, but you had me going this morning
-- I peeled the label back on a half dozen chps -- NOTHING!
I felt like I was playing with soda caps trying to win a free bottle of
coke!

Dave,
that's only the internal Bosch p/n for the EPROM. It is of no relevance
to your recearch.
What you need to do is read what's written on the PAPER stick-on label
that coveres the EEPROM's glass window for the UV eraser. Hopefully it
will contain the hexadecimal checksum number. It will be sort of a
signature of a particular software burnt into the chip. I am sure a few
of us on the list will be able to help you identify it.
