[s-cars] Reprogramming my Keyless Remote?

After about 7 days of non-use the remotes on IR systems get "locked out".
Restoring normal operation is easy:

(1.) Try to use the remote the usual way, and then when the doors don't
unlock...
(2.) Within a few seconds, unlock the door with the key.

That should put the remote back in service.  Note: I belive this procedure
only applies to IR remotes, not the later RF version.

P.S. I was going to veryify the procedure with my wife's key which hasn't
been used for a few weeks, but she can't find it!  Guess I'll have to take
it away if she doesn't take better care of it! :-)
