[s-cars] 10 disk CD player - problem

Hi all,

When I turn my radio to CD mode, the readout indicates
CD-----00, which according to the manual means that
either the CD magazine is not loaded or there are no
CDs in the magazine. Unfortunately, for me, neither
one is the case, the magazine is in and there are
discs in it. The EJECT button isn't working. Anyhow
experience simiar problems? I can't figure it out.
I've checked the fuses and can't find one that
corresponds to the CD disc changer.

Suggestions??
