[s-cars] 1st gear ratios?

Folks,
Trying to figure out which 6 speed to look for, but
have come to a conclusion.
First gear is WAY too frickin short for the mods I
plan.  Hell, with the 1+, it ends in a heartbeat, so
of all the compatible 6 speeds, which one has a taller
1st?  Any of you guys ever get custom ratios done?  Am
I out of my frickin skull?  Probably, but I want to
see if I can make this car do at least OKAY on a tight
course and double clutching into 1st may help that.
