[s-cars] 1st gear ratios and 6 speeds

It will cost you a huge amount of money to get a longer 1st gear,
if you can do it.  As far as I know, the only source is through
some of the shops that used to make Audi rally cars a few years
ago.  Otherwise, all of the 5&6 speed 01E quattro gearboxes have
had the same 1st ratio ...  except the Allroad which is shorter.

If you want to go faster in 1st, you'd probably be cheaper
building the engine with light pistons and strong light rods
so you could try for a lot more RPM and keep it together.
