Here's a thought. I just went out and verified that locking the _passenger_
door with the key has the same effect as locking the driver's door with the
key. I didn't go thru the whole rigamarole of re-syncing both remotes to
test my hypothesis, I leave that to you ;-P.

Here's what I'd try: follow the FAQ posted below, but use the passenger door
instead of the driver door. I bet it works fine...

No Rob, not from another remote like with the TV set. But you can buy
any VW/Audi radi controlled remote for ~$70 and teach it with teh
existing vallet key. Just keep in mind that the later switcvh blade
remotes have less power which will severely limit your range. I have
both the S6 and the A4 with the switchblade and I had played with them
extensively. I wrote a lengthy post on the subjct a few years ago.
