Given the HP you are going after rod, it IS a race car by definition. The
fact you use it on the street doesn't change that.
I'm not at all convinced anyone is "stuck" with what they have. It just
hasn't been a desire yet. Start breaking them regularly by increasing HP,
decreasing isolation (suspension mods and lightweight single flywheels), you
are increasing the shock loads on the trans and it's output allocation
device. Add a mongo swaybar, lift a wheel/slam it down = increase shock load
as well.
It's coming. When the desire gets high enough, I'm happy to accept donations
to buy my own bungalo.
