Hey, that's the price they pay for repeated 5k
launches.  I know, I saw a buddy of mine rip his poor
tranny to pieces in a decently modded 4G63 (20G turbo,
FMIC, injectors, enough piggyback computers in there
to put a decent MoTec system in instead, P&P head, you
know, little stuff :-) drop 3 trannies and God only
knows how many more.  At any one time, he has 3
sitting in his garage.
I keep telling him, "Why don't you quit this quarter
mile, chest beating bullshit?  You know what your car
runs.  Why don't you come to the track with me next
year?"
"Are you nuts?  I'll ruin my car that way!"
