Hi Tom,
93C seems a bit high based on what I've seen on this list and the 20V
list. Most experienced people (I'm not) recommend an 87C. Also, 93C
seems fairly close to the 96C limit for the fan. More work time for the
fan means a shorter life, not good.

Last year I installed a 93C fail-safe t'stat. The temp even at -20C, the
other day, was steady above the 90C hash mark. I had no problem this
past
summer in 90F heat, except that I occasionally did see 100C+ in stop and
go
traffic. And that is with an engine driven fan whose clutch is fried and
doing little in the way of any cooling..
Any thoughts on the 93C t'stat?
