I bought a '99 Range Rover 4.0 in 2000, with about 12K on it. A year and a
half later I sold it to buy my S6 wagon. I lost in depreciation about what
the S6 cost.

Ouch.

A 2000 A8 looks pretty attractive as an eventual replacement for my wife's
A6 wagon...there I don't mind the depreciation :)

My son is 12 now, perhaps he'll take over the wagon when he starts driving.
Course if he's anything like I was at his age, he already *is* driving! <uh
oh>
