you're right, that IS a bonehead question. but that's ok. :)
you can go pick up some antifreeze at the audi dealer, and top it
off yourself. list wisdom is that you shouldn't use aftermarket
antifreeze in the car. make sure you get the correct antifreeze.
if you don't have time for this, you can just top off with
distilled/deionized water from the drug store. it doesn't sound
like you have to put in very much anyway.
