I have just been thru the FA only to discover the worst fears...
It seems that the mirror drive motors are only available with the mirror housing.
As I don't feel like giving AUDI that much $$$, though I have not called for a price, I wondered if anyone may have a left and right electric mirror drive from a scraped / write off vehicle.

Seems there have been one or two write-offs as of late, just wondering if these where around.
If ,by change, my read of the FA is not correct and these are available stand alone, or even aftermarket please forward some info / part  numbers.
