[s-cars] fuel smell & the dealer Fixed it?

Mark;

Transport Canada has issued a recall (recall # 2000097, campaign code KY)
for the fuel line. Check it out at
http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/recalls/recall_e.asp?recno=8498&

Call a customer rep at AoA and open a file. They will direct the dealer to
replace the line. You could try going directly to the dealer with the recall
info - they may do the legwork with AoA for you.

You wouldn't believe the run-around I got from AoA when I tried to get my
line replaced. I finally got so pissed I reported the problem to Transport
Canada, polled list members to send in verifying data, and TC came through
in short order with our very own Canadian recall.

This list is worth it's weight in pure unobtanium!

What about this recall in Canada, I have a 93 (ok 92) S4. How do I find out
if this recall has been done ?
If it hasn't, do I just got to the local stealer / HACK, and have them do
it.
Or is there some arm twisting to be done ?

Thanks in advance.
