I'm not going to start a debate but I think soldering is not practical for a
mechanic. Crimping is.

Soldering should be fine. If the flux is not removed completely there will be
some corrosion but by the time the Ox sensor is finished it will be
negligible.

Unless you use gold crimps the connection between the wire and the crimp will
corrode faster than your minute traces of flux from your solder connection
