Hey I know a little about dull red paint:
Due to hail damage couple years ago, I had entire car clear coated.  End
of fading red paint problem. (cept on that much abused tailgate :(
Hit that sucker with Vitreo and even fire trucks move out of my way :)

BTW  Vitreod my wifes 9 year old Legend yesterday.  Now there's a paint
job. Friggin paint is showroom except for parking lot wars.  Absolutely
beautiful.  Now if it only had quattro, 6 spd  and 350hp.
