[s-cars] metallic noise

Heh, I'd love to (er, no). Except the speed that I'd be able to approach
the bump would generate about the same amount of noise as a tree in the
woods falling with no one around.
Why? Well, a certain "someone", won't mention names here, blew his 2nd Mman
hose last night (the one 'this person' borrowed from Ray T... sorry Ray!).
OK, realistically I can still drive it until I MOOCH another f'n hose
pre-Samco (Samco, Samco, where for art thou Samco?).
Sorry Neil, I don't hear anything... yet. I did make sure that them
rubbery things (spring condoms?) were slid down / up to points where there
would be no metal vs. metal. You can reach in there and try that?
Otherwise, maybe the Bilstein is clacking around in the tower? I put oil in
my tubes as a precautionary (though whoever suggested a tablespoon was being
a bit conservative IMHO). More likely, it could be your dust shields, as
the rim smacks the pothole, it can flex the rotor a hair and cause it to hit
a too-close shield(????). I say flex, as when I did my 1st road test,
jerking the wheel hard from side to side while driving produced contact
between the two, SCRAPEEE...
Good luck, maybe a meeting of the mindless @ S Fest can trouble shoot it,
with the collective brain power of, say, a church mouse?
