[s-cars] Strange Vibration

I recently bought a 95 s6 and have been extremely happy but lately i have been experiencing
a strange vibration coming from the steering wheel. It mainly occurs driving at 50 mph or
over and It makes it feel as if the front tire is skipping or bouncing on the pavement. When
driving on the freeway and applying the brakes sharply you can feel the brake pedal actually
pulse. The car does have aftermarket 17's that were balanced by the previous owner and
were fine until a couple of weeks ago. Living in Denver the roads have an unusual amount of
pot holes and I have run over a countless number of them, which could have caused an
alignment problem? Any diagnosis would be greatly appreciated and any suggestions for
places to fix the car in the Denver area would be great.
