[s-cars] Radiator fan coming on high often

Hi,

My newly acquired '95 S6 Avant has a problem where it seems to go into the =
"high" fan mode almost immediately.  Hard to notice sometimes while driving=
, but when I valeted the car tonight at a restaurant I heard the fan before=
 the car as the guy drove it up to the front of the restaurant after sittin=
g for over an hour (and, let me emphasize we in Seattle are enjoying 75 deg=
 weather while others suffer with 90 deg weather).

Climate here is very moderate (60's-70's) and my car has been running cool =
(normal engine temps).

So, why is my fan running in "high" mode all the time???  Has some sensor g=
one awry?
