Question: Where is the RF Receiver for the remote door lock/unlock located in a 1995.5 S6 Wagon?

My Remote Door lock/unlocking system has failed. I have replaced the Battery in the Remote Transmitter and it still fails to operate the remote locking system.
I tried the spare transmitter with a new battery and it too fails to operate the system.
The key locks and unlocks the doors and the pump runs and the horn beeps when locking, so I feel that the Central Locking/Alarm System/etc./Control Module -V94- is working.
Only the remote has failed.
Is the remote receiver located in the V94 Module? I hope not!

My Bentley has all the trouble shooting for the V94 and its actuators and switches, but nothing on the RF Remote control nor the RF receiver for the system.

Anyone have better information? Been There done that?
