[s-cars] cam sensor help

I have my car somewhat apart looking for the cam position sensor.  My Bentl=
ey CD shows it on the back of the head and I'm pretty sure mine is on the f=
ront of the block, under the top cam pulley.  I have yet to take ( or figur=
e out how to) the timing belt cover off and could use help in determining w=
hat to remove in order to get to the sensor.  I have a 95 S6--usually I can=
 wade through the CD-manual and figure stuff out, but this has me stumped. =
 Anyone been through this?
