Ah come on Paul, admit it... the look is sooo aggressive you're scared that
could be your car ! ;-)
Ok, seriously though, "If it were possible, maybe the ever-so-finest front
lip "lower diffuser" could be added (like on E36 ///M3)." This is kinda what
LLTEK showed me (sorry no pics), it's a small front lip spoiler made by
Zender in PURIM that will add to the existing bumper unit. If they ever get
their ass in gear and go ahead with it we will have a different alternative
to the wild aggressive look you don't like...more a hint of sport than
aggression.
Anyway IMHO I think it would be great to see different styling alternatives
available, fun to keep the UrS-cult going... of course there will always be
purist like yourself but some of us will always crave for a little more
wildness...
Hey I ordered a bake potato topped with sour cream and bacon bits with my
steak not rice ! ;-)
Cheers, /Jamu.

Like arseholes, we've all got an opinion. So here's mine (opinion,
not
arsehole!):
First, thanks for the cool pics, Taka. And many MORE thanks for NOT
posting
any blingbling pics, etc. To each their own, of course, but I
prefer not to
taint my eyeballs by even gazing up such crap!
WRT the body kit (beware, here comes the can 'o whoopass...), it
makes the
car look severely bloated, it's too rounded, big, and lacks
definition and
character. True, side skirts and a rear valance would help offset
the
front-end bloatedness and balance it out. But then you'd simply
have an
all-round bloated but balanced out behemoth! Taste, where is it
these days?
Ah well, que sera sera. Personally, the Euro F&R bumpers are the
way to go,
no sideskirts (if you want side 'definition, armor all the nice
black rocker
trim!). If it were possible, maybe the ever-so-finest front lip
"lower
diffuser" could be added (like on E36 ///M3). And I've seen a very
nice
looking yet simple rear valance on that "TypeC4.de" site (or
whatever it
is). Otherwise (brace yourselves), kits like that one simply throw
our
currently respectful looking cars to the ranks of "rice", ala Fast
and the
Frustrating. I most sincerely hope that is not the direction us
listers are
aiming to go toward... give the rest of us a bad image ;).
IMHO, which is of course utterly worthless.
WRT the 4ktq (I assume it's a T due to the apparent IC in the front
grille
area, similar to other conversions I've seen). As a long-time fan
of the
4kq body style, and a fan of my 'ole bud Mark Besso's former Nogaro
4kq
(recently hit head on, do'ah!), I dig it. Well, most of it. Front
spoiler
is a tad much (see above), as is the tailpipe treatment, and the
windshield
banner. Otherwise, it's a neatly executed approach. I especially
dug the
apparent partial V8 tail light treatment, que bueno, very creative,
nice
touch.
Enough of this man's arsehole, er, opinion (hey, they're often the
same!).
