I generally use "brake clean" (well away from the car) and dry the
filter with compressed air. The rubber hose is probably the high
pressure one, so you may need to spend big $$$ at Audi or get a
hydraulics hose to rebuild yours. Note that there is a filter in the
middle of the hose (in addition to those in the bolts at each end).
