Not any Sony.  It has to be an "XA" bus. A Sony CDX-A100 will work (I have
one).  A CDX-A30 most likely.  But these are no longer being produced.  I
was lucky and found a brand new one on e-bay last year.  And yes, these
units plug right up to the adapter.

Does anybody know if any Sony cd changer will work in the 92-94 S4 as long
as you have the adapter? After reading through Jimmy's site, I realized I
needed an adapter but his write up is dated, especially is the car stereo
world where products are old after six to eight months. I have an adapter on
the way, just wondering if a newer Sony unit will work? Any BTDT's?
