Nic, the key is getting the adapter!  If you have that, it's easy.

Anyone out there had luck with getting the factory mounting bracket for the
later A6/S6 6-disc changer mounted up in the trunk of an older S4 model
car???  I can't for the life of me figure this &#*J#()!!!!!! piece of
#^&*#$(@)( mouting braket out!  It's driving me fu&$&#*g crazy!!!!

Does anybody know if any Sony cd changer will work in the 92-94 S4 as long
as you have the adapter? After reading through Jimmy's site, I realized I
needed an adapter but his write up is dated, especially is the car stereo
world where products are old after six to eight months. I have an adapter on
the way, just wondering if a newer Sony unit will work? Any BTDT's?
