Hi Peter;
The most likely cause is dirty or corroded female connectors in the car
side socket(s). The rear brakes don't have wear sensors (I'm assuming you
have a UrS).
BTDT, took a while to find the problem.

Subject: [s-cars] Auto check Brake pad warning
I swapped out the front rotors and pads and plugged in the pad sensors.
Everything seemed to have gone smoothly. However, my autocheck system
doesn't seem to like my Mintex pads? The low pad warning (O) is on. Aside
from checking my rear brakes which I will do right after dinner, is there
another reason this could be happening -did I forget something?...and no, I
don't yet have a Bentley. I flushed out the fluid and it took about half a
can as predicted by other listers (thank you).
Peter Anderson
