Does anybody know if you have to remove the driver door inner-panel to
remove the Seat Memory Control Unit? Is there a detailed procedure
written up for this one on a web page somewhere... if so, let me know.

After the nth coffee spill in my wife's '95 A6, the panel stopped
functioning... I was hoping that I could remove the unit and take it apart
and clean it out and possibly getting it working again? If it was an easy
removal job, I could also swap out the one in my S4 to ensure that it
isn't something else in the system that has failed? Note: The levers on
the side of the drivers-seat that control the seat position both still
work (so it's probably the control unit?).

Thanks,
Brent Henry
