I understand that the '96-'97 A4 sport wheel does fit, and that the later
ones don't. You might want to do some further research...let us know what
you find, as my wife's '96 A6q desperately needs a new steering wheel, and
if I'm going to go to the trouble of changing the wheel, I'm definitely
putting on a sport wheel....The leather is coming apart at the top of the
wheel, either due to hand grease or the heat of the sun or who knows what.
