[s-cars] IA vs MTM

Chris,

I have not - and his product would be my first choice _IF_ he was including
the 3 bar xducer. Because he will not sell us the III+, I have to look to
Hoppen / MTM. Ned says he is "saving" his supply but will he guarantee
there will be one available for me in two years if I decide to up-the-ante
as far as my mods are concerned? Even if I believed that, it means I have
to accept less performance now- perhaps performance that I could be happy
with for as long as I own this car (no further engine mods). I have not
driven any other UrS cars with mods so I have to judge from the commentary
of list members I have read over the last few days. What I am hearing
tells me I should get the 3 bar mod because a) it really does offer more
performance and b) they may not be there in the near future. I guess my
final question for Ned (if he's lurking) is: who, if not those on this list
with 20v I5 turbos, would need / want the 3-bar units anyway? Are these
useful for other models ( 1.8t, Neu S4, S6, RS6?? )? If they are not, then
I must assume you have so very few that you are reserving them for existing
customers who are ALREADY on the upgrade path with your product. An
honorable decision in my book but still one that points me right back to
Hoppen.
