Darin,

Really sad to read such an email. I don't understand how this is happening.
The french have been able to have a 300 cars week end early June. How come
the US can not do at least the same ?
I can not imagine they are less organized and passionnate than the
froggies. I know it is hard when you organize an event and you put all your
passion and soul into it. We were in the same situation for Folembray 2002:
30 cars registered 2 weeks before the event. 300 cars during the week end.
Guess how was the week end for the team !!!

Regards,
Frederic

WOW... I'd say that is a start. If I weren't already tied into a contract
with
a hotel and race track in MN I would almost move the Nationals out there.

So far, interest in attending the S-Car Nationals in Minneapolis seems to be
pretty pathetic. (At least as far as the actual registrations are
concerned)
If things don't pick up soon I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck with a
whole
lot of hotel rooms. Ouch.

For the amount of work and level of financial risk involved (10k or so), I'm
wondering if maybe the S-CAR Nationals should be held every two years
instead.
Or maybe just axe it all together in favor of smaller regional gatherings?
