[s-cars] "oil" service indicator?

Anyone have an easy fix for turning off the "oil" indicator that flashes
for the first 15 seconds b/c Audi thinks I need an oil change?  My
dealer is 50 miles away, 26 of which is
40mph-single-lane-under-"expletive of choice"-construction.

By "fix", I mean something other than to cover it with black electrical
tape, ala shift indicator light (you insiders know who you are).  :`)
