[s-cars] Advice for X-country trip

I have to concur with Charlie re: Ohio patrol.  I always made it a point
to drive 5-7 over in Ohio, when I had Michigan plates, because I somewhat
believed all the rumors in Michigan about Ohio patrolmen loving to nab
Michigan drivers (big OSU / UM rivalry, etc.).

I still got pulled over one night for 5 over, but I was "let off."
Another time I was pulled over for my license plate lights being out, but
when I went to look at them they were miraculously fixed and I was let off
again.  Hmm..
