You are over complicating the answer to "Why don't they put a manual
tranny in...?"

This is strictly business. Auto trannies will sell better, and the costs
associated with also offering manuals in S6, S8, etc., just isn't
economically viable. The return on investment is under the target
threshold. Yeah, it sucks for us, but car companies either make the
right decisions, or they go away. And then what do we do, drive Subarus?
