I am not saying one bad thing at all about Ned, as far as I am concerned he
is the only TUNER in this discussion of Hoppen VS IA. Joe sells a commodity,
Ned does what he can to further the hobby and help people. There are only a
handfull of people I have found out about after 4-5 yrs. of research who do
custom motronics mods the way they need to be done and None of them are
within a continent of me. Ned has learned to play with the different boost,
ignition and timing chips and can give and take away certain perameters,
these mods from everything I know, he does well. But my point was that these
things are done right by adjusting maps without a dyno and reference engine,
actually doing the base mapping and then doing and testing, then mapping the
mods, then re-testing,etc takes a huge amount of work and money not very
much mod would be done without the basic maps by Lehman, and Meyer, and
Honester all of whom worked for or with Audi on these engines.. No ill will
intended for Ned, who I like, at all, its just that he is adjusting, getting
Peter Link of MTM to do your chip is another thing.
